Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded iceberg or romaine lettuce

1 cup diced ripe tomatoes

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Cooking spray for greasing

Optional: sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for dipping

Instructions

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey), breaking it apart as it cooks. Once fully browned, drain any excess grease to keep the filling lean.

Add the taco seasoning mix to the meat, following the package instructions. Typically, this involves adding a small amount of water and simmering for a few minutes until the mixture thickens and the flavors meld.

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) to ensure a crispy finish.

Carefully open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on a clean surface.

On each triangle, place a generous spoonful of the seasoned taco meat, followed by a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese and a few diced tomatoes for a fresh burst of flavor.

Gently fold the dough over the filling to create a ball shape, ensuring to pinch the seams securely to prevent any filling from escaping during cooking.

Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the taco bombs in the basket, ensuring they are spaced apart for even cooking.

Air fry the taco bombs for approximately 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. You may need to cook in batches depending on your air fryer's capacity.

Once cooked, carefully remove the taco bombs from the air fryer and allow them to cool slightly. Serve them warm alongside a bed of shredded lettuce and your choice of dips such as sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for a deliciously interactive experience.

Optional Presentation Tips: Serve the taco bombs on a vibrant platter garnished with fresh cilantro and lime wedges for a pop of color. Arrange the dips in small bowls around the platter for easy access. Enjoy!
