Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion sliced thinly
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced thinly
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing optional
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté sliced onions and green bell peppers for 5-7 minutes until soft.
  • Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add thinly sliced chicken breasts, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for 5-6 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Pour buffalo sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Return sautéed onions and bell peppers to the skillet and mix well with the buffalo chicken.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and slice hoagie rolls down the center without cutting all the way through.
  • Fill each hoagie roll with the buffalo chicken mixture and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Optionally drizzle ranch dressing inside each cheesesteak and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
