Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 piece zest of lemon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • to taste fresh parsley finely chopped
  • to taste lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a separate bowl.
  • Place grated Romano cheese in a third bowl.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat with Romano cheese.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer chicken to a baking dish and drizzle with remaining lemon juice.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked and cheese is bubbling.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
