Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  • Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink.
  • Flip shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  • Pour heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce, simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
