Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium apples peeled and diced
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Peel and dice the apples into small pieces and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour, rolled oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, combine almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract until blended.
  • Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients, then fold in diced apples.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Shape the batter into small patties using about 2 tablespoons of mixture each.
  • Arrange fritters in the air fryer basket without touching each other.
  • Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray and air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

For extra sweetness, serve with powdered sugar or additional honey.
