Delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Whoopie Pies

Ingredients
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1¾ cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix the wet ingredients by beating sugar and cocoa powder until well combined.
- Add milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the sugar mixture and beat until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then stir in peanut butter.
- Drop the batter by tablespoonfuls onto a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Allow the cakes to cool, then make the peanut butter filling by beating peanut butter and butter until smooth.
- Assemble the whoopie pies by spreading peanut butter filling on one cake and topping with another.
- Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve.
