  • 2 medium apples preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup milk can be dairy or non-dairy
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying such as vegetable or coconut oil
  • Powdered sugar for optional dusting

Instructions
