  • 1 bag pretzel rods
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M's
  • 1 tablespoon shortening
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • fresh edible flowers or sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second increments and stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is smooth.
  • Dip each pretzel rod into the melted white chocolate, coating approximately ⅔ of the pretzel rod.
  • Immediately roll the white chocolate-coated pretzel rod in a plate of M&M's to adhere the candies to the pretzel.
  • Place the M&M-coated pretzel rod on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Repeat steps 3-5 with the remaining pretzel rods and M&M's.
  • If desired, add a small amount of shortening to the melted white chocolate to achieve a smoother coating.
  • Use a toothpick or a small knife to carefully draw petal shapes on the M&M-coated pretzel rod, starting from the top and working downwards.
  • Refrigerate the pretzels for at least 30 minutes to allow the white chocolate to set.
