  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 scoop favorite ice cream

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Cream the butter and sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

  • Press the dough into a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes for a cast-iron skillet or 35-40 minutes for a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and slice.
