Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine olive oil, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange salmon fillets skin-side down.
  • Brush the marinade mixture generously over each salmon fillet.
  • Place lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a few minutes.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
